Finally Revealed! Acne Drug Accutane's Side Effect Is Death. So Why Is It Still on the Market?

Just this morning, I read a new that caught my attention in my mail box. It’s about the deadly side effect of accutane on acne sufferers. It says - A New Jersey man won a $25 million verdict after he alleged that Roche (RHHBY.PK)’s acne drug Accutane gave him an inflammatory bowel disorder that required the removal of his colon. This is horrible, isn’t it? According to the article, - the verdict raises a question: If Accutane (generic name isotretinoin) has such dramatic side effects, why is it still on the market? The question is not trivial. Taking Accutane can kill you. Or, if you get pregnant, it can kill your baby. Literally. So why will people buy what will kill them with their hard earned money? The article further listed the side effects as:
  • ·         miscarriages (patients must be on birth control when using it)
  • ·         birth defects (facial and nervous system deformities, mental retardation)
  • ·         increased internal skull pressure
  • ·         bone mineral density
  • ·         depression
  • ·         psychosis
  • ·         suicide
  • ·         aggressive or violent behaviors
  • ·         acute pancreatitis
  • ·         “unknown” cardiovascular consequences
  • ·         deafness
  • ·         hepatitis
  • ·         bowel disease
  • ·         excessive bone growth
  • ·         night blindness and sight loss

  • All this for a drug that cures acne. Even Roche gave up marketing this drug after the cost of lawsuits became greater than its profits. One is tempted to conclude that Accutane essentially functions as a poison that kills acne before it kills you.

That is why I have been a very strong advocate of using natural mean to sure your acne holistically once and for all with no side effect. For a complete guide to natural acne treatment, this ebook ACNE NO MORE is highly recommended. This will teach you the how-to of curing your acne holistically once and for all.

How to avoid the Side Effects from conventional Acne Treatments

The treatment of various acne forms varies from ingestion of pills to external applications of over-the-counter products on the acne patient. But care has to be taken of what you are taking into your body or applying on it in treating your acne. Side effects and other adverse outcome are some of the problems you may experience.

Unfortunately, many conventional acne treatments products generate a whole lot of complications. The commonest complication reaction is allergy. A number of acne sufferers are allergic to different ingredients that make up the acne products. Most times this allergy is unknown until after some times when they have used the products and start discovering that they are having different health complications.

Apparently, this can be very disastrous with dire consequences for many unsuspecting sufferers. But, their intention was to treat their acne; unfortunately, they end up with a more complicated problem.

These complications range from skin inflammation, flaking and redness as a result of the adverse reaction of the various chemicals contained in the acne product thus giving the skin a very bad look.

Dear friend, it’s in your best interest to mull over all the options at your disposal and do a thorough investigation on the treatment you take over the counter. This is very paramount because it has to do with your skin and of course your health.

I passionately advice that you do not take any unnecessary risks just because a friend told you, or you saw the advert in the media. Get enough information about the acne treatment you are about to buy. And do not allow acne cost you more than it already has.

Now, let’s face fact, I am pretty sure we've all at one point or the other tried conventional medications for acne treatment. And the memory of the horrible effects it left on our skin is still very fresh. To avoid the side effect of conventional acne treatment, the safest way is to go for a natural medication.Try Acne No More, a how-to book on how to get rid of acne once and for all.

5 Top FAQ about Acne Scar

Following my interaction with people with acne disease, I have observed that many of them ask any of the 5 questions am about to give an answer to. I will try as much as I can to explicit in my explanation.

What is acne scar?
Acne scar is the visible remnants of acne after the acne itself have subsided. Acne often leaves small mark where the skin gets a “volcanic” shape. The scars tend to cause pockmark in the skin surface. There are two types of acne scarring. One results in a growth tissue while the other is responsible for loss of tissue.

What causes acne scar?
Acne scaring is caused by several factors. When the gland produces too much sebum, and bacteria get in contact with it, it may result to pimple, blackheads or whiteheads. Squeezing the pimple can cause scars on the skin.

Is there any treatment for acne scar?
The best way to treat acne scarring is to tackle it early and continue until there is achievement. There is however, a lot of treatment available when treating acne scarring. While we are used to the conventional means of treating acne, we are quick to forget its continual failure to solve the problem permanently. The result is usually evident just for few weeks and you are faced with the same problem over again.

How long will it take for my acne to disappear?
Timing depends on how dark the scars are. Very light scar starts fading away after a week or two. But darker marks take longer time. For some 6 months, others a year or even more.

Which product will you recommend for acne cure?
Really, it’s pretty difficult to get good product that work for everybody. The use of cosmetics in most cases has been found to have adverse side effects on the skin. Some treatment which may be suitable for one particular skin may not be for another.
I have always recommended natural treatment as a permanent solution for acne. Visit HERE to discover more tips and get the recommended e-book for acne treatment.

How to Use Tea Tree Oil to Cure Acne

Acne is not just a teenage a problem, it is also common in adults. It’s a skin disease that does not respect age, sex, status or race. Its psychological effect can be very damning especially to teenagers. Are you getting fed up with this acne stuff? Just relax and let me share with you a natural holistic approach to becoming acne free by simply using Tea tree oil.

Tea tree oil is extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca Alternifolia in Australia and is known to contain antiseptic properties that are very useful skin disinfectant. Unlike other teas, tea tree oil is steamed by distillation to prevent the oxidation of the leaves, thus retaining the active substance. Pure, unadulterated tea tree oil can be found in health stores.

Depending on the sensitivity of your skin, between 5 – 10% solutions twice a day will be adequate. Tea tree oil is preferred to benzyl peroxide in treating acne because the later has been found to have side effect on the users.

Application:
From experience, some people suffering from acne complained about their skin’s sensitivity to tea tree oil. I will advise you start out with a very mild solution. Here are the tips:
  • Splash your face with cold water, and then rinse it with warm water Dilute 5 part tea tree oil with 95 part water (e.g 5ml tea tree oil and 95ml water)
  • Dip a cotton wool inside the solution and apply gently over the affected area.
  • Repeat this daily (morning and night) until considerable result is achieved.

How to use garlic to cure acne

All my life, I have always known garlic as a condiment for spicing food until lately when I discovered its medicinal value especially in curing acne. Garlic is known for its highly odorous nature. Active sulphur, the major component found in garlic works to eliminate acne and it is considered to be one of the first natural antibiotics.
The use of garlic for curing acne does not require much preparation. Its simple steps we can all try out in our kitchen.

    Application:
    1. Splash your face with cold water, and then rinse it softly with warm water.
    2. Get some garlic, squash it, and mix it in a cup of warm water.
    3. Dip a clean cotton ball in the mixture and apply gently on the affected part.
    4. Repeat this daily (morning and night) until result is achieved.

If this method is followed religiously, you will discover that it does not work only for tough acnes but can also remove spots, zits and pimples.

Eating seeds of garlic can also help combat from the inside the bacteria that is responsible for acne outbreak. If you have problem with the foul smell of garlic, you may soak the garlic in milk for about an hour before eating. This will eliminate the smell and produce the same lasting effect of garlic.

You see, you don’t have to spend that much to cure your acne. For more tips on how to cure your acne permanently using natural means, click HERE.

    Does Toothpaste Work for Acne?

Although there is so much argument out there as to whether toothpaste is good for the treatment of zits/pimples, but its effects on the skin is more paramount. Some people argue it is not good because it causes burns. Others encouraged the use of it with proven results. It pissed me off to see people arguing like crazy because it worked for someone and not for the other.

Whatever category you belong, we have to understand certain things when considering toothpaste as a remedy for acne treatment.

First, we have to understand that different people have different skins and thus get different reaction.
Second, certain toothpaste actually causes burns, for example, Crest. Find out which toothpaste is good for you. Many people prefer Aquafresh because of its mildness on the skin.
Third, find out if you can leave it on your skin overnight. For some folks, they can afford to do so without experiencing any burn.

If you have acute acne, you may not consider this option. Toothpaste really doesn’t get rid of acne, but it makes them noticeably smaller and clears them up faster.

However I will recommend you only apply toothpaste on the particular spot where the zit is after you must have washed your face with warm water. Rinse immediately when you notice any itching or burning sensation.
In conclusion, discover what works best for your skin and stick to it until you achieve results.

You will be astonished at the wonderful impact this method will have on your skin. To discover more tips on how to live an acne free life, click HERE.

How to Treat Acne by Simply Washing Your Face

You have to understand first that dirt does not in anyway cause acne. This misconception probably comes from the fact that blackheads looks like dirt filling the openings of the pores of the skin. The black spot is not dirt but oxidized keratin. Built-up oils in the skin could cause blockage of these pores and could be reduced with standard washing of the face. Check my article on 7 myths about acne.

It may be ridiculous, but it’s true. You can cure your acne without spending a dime. I will share with you some tips to cure your acne by simply washing your face with water.

First in the morning, splash your face with cold water, and then rinse it softly with warm water. The truth lies in washing it gently. Scrubbing hard will do a lot of damage to your skin. While drying your face, it is preferable to use the pat dry method rather than scrub it with a towel. Scrubbing so hard could lead to an outbreak and production of more oils. You could wash your face in the afternoon as well.

Although, I try as much as possible to discourage people from using chemical laden product, you may use a very mild soap with antibacterial or glycerine content for washing. Let me warn here that excessive washing with soap could cause some allergic reaction and skin irritation as well.

Repeat the same process before you go to bed. Thus, you would have ended up washing three times a day. Make this process a daily routine and you will be amazed at the drastic change in your acne condition.

This secret will best work for mild acne sufferers, although acute acne could reduce considerably with this measure.

    Acne and Your Diet

Acne is a skin disease caused by changes in the skin structure consisting of a hair follicle and its associated sebaceous gland. Acne lesions are commonly referred to as pimples, spots or zits.

Although there is so much argument out there, it is now generally believed that diet plays a very minute role in the aggravation of this common skin disease than was earlier believed.

Hormonal changes are mostly responsible. The hormone testosterone enlarges and influences the sebaceous gland in such a way that the skin flares up due to an overproduction of oil and the accumulation of bacteria.

Read on as I explain some nutritional issues related to acne.

Chocolate consumption: Research has shown that acne appearance is in no way affected by chocolate consumption; rather studies suggested that it boost the level of serotonin in the brain that produces a calming effect and stability. The fact is that chocolate contains about one-third anti-oxidants adults require for healthy living. Anti-oxidants help unclog pores.

Fruits and vegetables: a balance diet rich in veggies and fruits is recommended to acne sufferers, as this will advance the general well being of the individual. With the diminution of the body’s natural antioxidant in its fight against bacteria that causes acne, fresh fruits and veggies are required for quick replenishment on daily basis.

Vitamin A: studies have shown that newly diagnosed acne patients tend to have lower level of vitamin A circulating in their blood-stream than those that are acne free.

Processed food: it has also been suggested that there is a link between diet high in refined sugar and processed food like white bread, pizza, cake and pastries. These foods cause reaction in the body that that increases the level of insulin which in turn leads to an excess hormone that triggers the sebaceous gland. However these results need to be verified.

Dear reader, here comes the big question – Does diet provide remedy for our acne problems?

To discover this, click this link and get tips on how to put an end to your acne problem once and for all. You will have access to free mini e-course to help you cure your acne.
